Deep River – A program of American music featuring spirituals by Moses Hogan. Wallace Hinson, Conductor. "From the pitch-perfect singing and superb sense of ensemble of the singers to the beautifully recorded sonics, this is a quality production all the way. Even the woodcut reproduction on the booklet cover reinforces the mood of divine longing and nostalgia for 'home' that suffuses the great American spirituals." - New Classik Reviews, March 2007. www.atlantaaudiosociety.org My Days are Like an Evening Shadow, Psalm 42: As a Deer Longs for Flowing Streams, Balm in Gilead, How Can I Keep From Singing, The Promised Land, Deep River, If I got my ticket, can I ride?, The Battle of Jericho, My Soul's Been Anchored in the Lord, Abide with Me, We Shall Walk Through the Valley in Peace, Ev'ry Time I Feel The Spirit, I Can Tell the World, I'm Gonna Sing 'til the Spirit Moves in My Heart

Antiphonica. David Brensinger, Conductor. "From our friends at aca Digital comes Antiphonica, as rare a jewel as it was unexpected. Of all the composers on this CD, Henk Badings (1907-1987) was the only one previously known to me, and the Dutch composer's name is hardly a household word. Nevertheless, there is much music of radiant beauty on this program by the Atlanta Singers under David Brensinger...." - New Classik Reviews, January 2007. www.atlantaaudiosociety.org The Beatitudes/Blagri; The Prayer/Prosnja; Missa Antiphonica; Five Hebrew Love Songs (Temuná, Kalá kallá, Lárov, Éyze Shéleg!, Rakút); From Siberian Folk Poetry (On Barabinski's Open Plain, Here Come the Starlings!, The Little Orphan, The Chain Gang, In the Valley, In the Meadow, Village Life is Very Good).
Chantez
Noel. David Brensinger, Conductor. "Thanks to the legacy of
Robert Shaw, Atlanta is rich in choral groups, including several
which have gained national distinction. Some of these groups were
founded by members of Shaw's Atlanta Symphony Chorus and have
survived over the decades to make their own name. The Atlanta
Singers, begun 24 years ago, is among the most notable. David
Brensinger conducts the Singers, whose repertoire on 'Chantez'
includes sacred Renaissance masterworks (Praetorius' 'Psallite,'
'Swete Was The Song the Virgine Soong,' Victoria's 'O Magnum
Mysterium,' and 'Es ist ein Ros' entsprungen'), traditional carols
('Il est ne,' 'Wassail Song,' 'Silent Night,' 'Jingle Bells' and
'Deck The Hall'), traditional Spanish carols ('A la nanita nana' and
'Esta noche nace un Nino'), and traditional French carols ('Dans les
hombres de la nuit,' the title tune, and 'Entre le boeuf et l'ane
gris'). Intricate, classical harmonies perfectly sung by this
talented ensemble." Compliments of Primarily A Cappella at
